Working the light — both on film or digitally.

It’s been over 20 years since I started
light–fanaticing in the make–shift studio in
my basement. I had a 3000 sq. ft. studio in
the eclectic warehouse district for about 24
years and now I’m working the light at a new
lodge–inspired location. Of course, it’s complete
with enough Speedtron strobe units to light up
the city, piles of polarized gels and focusable
sunbeam–creating spotlights.

I owe my success not only to the light–full
genes of my parents – but to my support team. My wonderful wife and biz partner, Jane, my
two inquisitive boys and of course, Summit,
our studio dog.
